Heartthrob Gautam Rode is undoubtedly one of the most good looking and loved actors on television, but what adds to his ever increasing fan base of women is his chiseled abs and sculpted torso. The actor recently won an award for the fittest actor at the 9th Zee Gold Awards and when he came on stage to collect his trophy, host Jay Bhanushali and guest presenter Karanvir Bohra pestered him to take off his shirt and flaunt his muscles. They were obviously joined in by all the women in the audience, who broke into wild cheering, hoping to get a sneak-peek of Gautam’s taut muscles. Despite Karanvir and Jay trying to rip his shirt apart, the shy actor stood his ground and did not concede! 

The actor has been working really hard, despite his grueling shoot schedule, to keep his envious physique sculpted. Co-host and good friend Gauahar Khan also divulged, that it’s not just his hard work at the gym but also his strict diet. Rather he follows his diet so religiously that he often carries his sprout box even when he goes to the movies. Even his friends incessantly ribbing him and telling him he’s going overboard doesn’t discourage him from ditching this habit.

The 9th Zee Gold Awards will be an evening of glitz, glamour, scintillating performances and will be aired on Sunday, 31st July at 6:30 PM on Zee TV.  Some of the performances that captivated the audiences were the warrior act by television hotties Ravi Dubey and Gurmeet Choudhary, a romantic act by Divyanka Tripathi, Karan Patel, Adaa Khan and Arjun Bijlani.
