After showcasing his versatility with his roles in shows like “Left Right Left”, “Adaalat”, “Sadda Haq” and “Uttaran”, actor Gaurav Chopraa will next be seen playing the character of a superstar in TV show “Doli Armaanon Ki”.

Gaurav will essay the role of Akash Kumar, who will enter Urmi’s (Manasi Salvi) household with an agenda.

“Akash is a superstar in his mid-40s. He is going through a troubled marriage but projects the image of having the most perfect married life in the media. He has seen a downfall in his popularity and stardom in the last few years and is desperate now to reclaim his lost fame,” Gaurav said in a statement.

“My look is quite stylish and draws inspiration from the popular film stars of today’s times,” he added.

“Doli Armaanon Ki”, which airs on Zee TV, is currently showing Urmi fighting the rape case of her son Shaurya’s colleague Diya (Neha Sargam).

She is leaving no stone unturned to get Diya the justice she deserves and has collected all the evidence against the rapists.
