Known as Gaurav in Splitsvilla, Gauri underwent a sexual reassignment surgery in December 2016. And in a conversation with TellyChakkar, she mentioned about finding love in Parth and said that they are head over heels in love with each other. She also mentioned that Parth is a strong and brave man who loves her and does not care about her past identity.

However, we have exclusively learned that Parth and Gauri have parted ways. Inf act, Parth went on record to deny being in a relationship with Gauri. He mentioned that Gauri was obsessed with him and that when he realized this and started keeping distance, their friendship too hit a dead end.

In a conversation with us, Parth even mentioned that he was unaware of media reports about them being in a relationship and hence did not clarify it two years ago.  

Let’s take a look at what Parth had to say.

'The confession spoiled my relations with a lot of my friends, or you can say that the confession of an obsessed person ended a healthy friendship. Initially, Gaurav and I were friends. We used to hang out and chill with our friends. After he took the bold step to transform into a girl, my friends and I always tried to support her, even when not a lot of people were open about it.'

'With time, her friendship towards me slowly and steadily turned into an obsession, and I really don't know when and why she and others started linking me to her. I always played the role of a friend and nothing more. But eventually, all the rumours and allegations started affecting my personal life. The obsession started getting to me and made it difficult for me to continue my friendship and support.'

'Things confessed by her such as going on long drives alone (which never happened) and me "proposing" to her are lies!'

'When she saw that I was stepping aside and that I had started maintaining distance, she used to come forcefully to my cafe. In spite of me asking her many times not to meet me or come into my cafe, she refused to comply. Later, I was left with no choice but to leave her and my friends too, as some of them still support her being in a relationship that never existed.' (SIC)
