On your birthday, you wish to spend the day with your family. Many of our TV actors aren’t so lucky as they have relocated to Mumbai from their hometown to pursue their celluloid dreams. Loveleen Kaur Sasan, who is currently a part of Kaisa Ye Ishq Hai… Ajab Sa Risk Hai, is a tad sad on her birthday today (16 July 2013) as she can’t spend this wonderful day with her parents in Jammu. Yesterday, her aunt and her friends in a way made up for her parents not being with her by a pre-birthday celebration. Today her colleagues celebrated her birthday on the sets. She has been gifted perfumes, teddy bears, chocolates and gold anklets. She told us, “I will pack up early today. I will gift myself a diamond necklace.” It did not come as a surprise to us when she said that her ideal birthday vacation is a trip to Jammu so that she can spend some quality time with her parents. “I had a great birthday last year as I was in my hometown with my parents. I have very fond memories of my childhood birthdays as I would spend them with my family. My grandma made them very special.” Leena Jumani (Piya Ka Ghar Pyaara Lage, Amita Ka Amit is celebrating her birthday with her close buddies in Thailand. Her mother received our call to give us this information. She will spend two to three days in Thailand. Seasoned actor Vikram Sahu (Hitler Didi) will be going out for dinner with his friends to celebrate his birthday today. This is his best birthday as his family has gifted him a Ford EcoSport car. The actor told us, “It is just out in the market. I will be among the first few to get this car which will arrive at my residence next week.” His family and relatives also gave him perfumes, clothes and chocolates. His ideal birthday vacation would be in Spain with his wife. Reminiscing on his childhood birthdays he says, “It would always pour heavily on my birthday. I would watch the rain gloomily from my bungalow in Chembur wondering if my friends would turn up at my party. They would finally arrive.” His birthday wish is that God blesses everyone in this world to be happy. “I would also like the Almighty to gift me good roles this year.” Jignesh Joshi (Mrs Kaushik Ki Paanch Bahuein) spent his birthday today with the cast of this show. “Vibha Chibber who would play my mother on the series celebrated her birthday a few days ago. So, we had a joint celebration yesterday. My cast of this show is endearingly mad- they added their eccentricity to the celebrations to make it funky. I have played many pranks on them, so this was the ideal opportunity for them to return all of that (laughs).” The actor received t-shirts, shirts and perfumes from friends. “My friends are crazy too and make sure to make my birthday special even if I am not in a mood to celebrate. In fact, I will be going out to dinner with them.” Jignesh would love to go on a birthday vacation to Las Vegas or New York. “I would love to party in New York and gamble in Las Vegas.” His birthday wish is for success in his career and to find the right girl and settle down.
