Four television actors viz Akkshat Gupta (last seen in Do Dil Bandhe Dori Se), Deepti Devi (last seen in Bade Acche Lagte Hain), Kapil Aryan (Shapath) and Smita Bansal (Balika Vadhu) are celebrating their birthdays today (21 February). After wishing them a happy and a joyous birthday, we talked to each one of them to learn about their birthday plans. Shared Deepti, “Firstly let me tell you that this is my first birthday after I got married on 26 December (2013). Last night my husband surprised me with cakes and threw a bash for which he had called all my close friends. Tonight we will go for quiet family dinner. Yes, one thing, I am against gifts. I have got everything in my life and don’t believe that there should be one particular day to seek gifts. I just wish that God always keeps me grounded and happy with my new family.” Said Kapil, “Am doing nothing much, just chilling at home and attending to phone calls of my close ones. It’s good that people remember my birthday and are wishing me. At midnight yesterday I had a cake cutting ceremony like every year. This evening I might go out somewhere with my family and friends. Since today I am not shooting, the entire cast of my show is wishing me on the phone. On turning a year older, I just wish that God keeps me healthy and hope my year goes well.” Later when we got in touch with Akkshat, he averred, “Well I went out with my friends for lunch at Mainland China and might go somewhere in the evening to celebrate my birthday. I have been flooded with gifts; have received perfumes, shirts, shades and many more.” Lastly Smita added, “My husband has come from Uttarkashi but have no idea what has he planned for my birthday.”
