Life is full of ups and downs. Sometimes on a high, sometimes a bit low.

One actress who is living the phrase, literally, is pretty and perfect Nikita Dutta.

The Ek Duje Ke Vaaste lead star is a bundle of energy. She was all fun and frolic when we met her at the launch press conference of the show.

Back then she mentioned: “Watch out for the role. It will shine bright.”

And voila... she did stand out from the current crop of actors.

However, there’s a sad development.

The doe-eyed beauty, as per our earlier report, has been recuperating at a suburban hospital.

“Nikita was feeling uneasy on the sets. She complained of high fever and body ache. Worried, the crew member rushed her to the nearest hospital. There she was diagnosed with dengue and Leptospirosis. She has been bedridden since the last one week,” informed the source.

Alarmed and concerned, we buzzed Nikita, and the lovely lady in a shaky tone said: “I have been diagnosed with two diseases at the same time, so recovery will take time.”

We understand, Nikita and we wish you a speedy recovery.

In the show, with the lead being absent, the current plot is revolving around the parallel characters Pushkar (Ranjit Singh) and Preeti (Aditi Rathore).
