Popular television actor Nakuul Mehta is all set to host Colors’ reality show India’s Got Talent (Colors & Fremantle Media).

As we caught up with the actor, he shared with us about his journey as a host. “Hosting is definitely a different and incredible experience. Not only I had the opportunity to witness such talents on the first hand, but also the pleasure of guiding them and sharing their tales was something really touchy.”

“There were certain emotional moments for me in the show, where even I got emotional watching the talented people performing on stage. The best part was definitely seeing the faces of the parents beaming with joy and pride when their kids used to perform brilliantly on stage,” added the actor.

Interestingly, India’s Got Talent will also show some hidden talent of the actor turned host. Speaking about the same Nakuul commented, “I write poetries at times and also have some raps. And I have showed few of them in the show.”

When we asked him about his co-host, Bharti Singh, the actor was all praises about her. “The talented lady has a very innocent side and that is the reason I like her so much.  She is very much different from me and I believe that will provide the audience with a fusion of two different personalities.”

When we quizzed Nakuul about doing dailies, the actor answered, “I believe these days the content of a show is very much important, I don’t bother much if it is a daily soap or a mini-series, as long as the content is good. I really liked the concept of Manmarziyan and Nisha Aur Uske Cousins. And I would love to do a fiction series based on contemporary stories.”
