This year seems to be one joyful year for TV star Smriti Khanna as she is expecting her first baby with husband Tarun Khanna sometime this month. Interestingly not many from the fraternity are aware of this fact. Hence, she is being bombarded with show offers. “Trust me, I’ve been getting some of the most interesting roles during my pregnancy period and I just smile at this co-incidence,” admits the actress with a giggle. We tell her that her husband too has been a part of some of the biggest shows at the moment. “Yes, it’s been a beautiful year. We are waiting for the baby and Tarun has both Rangrasiya and Mahabharat in his kitty; we feel blessed,” Smriti avers. How excited is Tarun about the baby? “Very much, in fact both of us have just been waiting for the little one to arrive,” she quips. And when will you get back to work? “I am going to give a good six to seven months to my baby and then get back to work,” Smriti ends. Our good wishes are with you Smriti!!!
