The cute and bubbly Sana Sheikh simply enjoys her dual role of being an RJ with Radio Mirchi as well as being an actress on television. Talking about her humble beginning, Sana told us, “I feel blessed to have a nice and supportive family. The reason why I joined media was because my dad expired when I was just 12 years old. We had a financial crunch and my mother struggled really hard to raise me and my sister. When I was in my first year of BBM (Bachelor of Mass Media) I got a job in Radio Mirchi. It was a good salary package and I had to take it. I enjoyed working with the peppy and young team. I am glad that I did not join acting too early in age as I would have lost my childhood. The Mirchi team is very supportive and I enjoy my work out there.” On her life as an actor Sana shared, “I was so thrilled when I purchased my car at the age of 20. That was when I got an offer from Kya Mast Hai Life wherein Shaheer Sheikh and I debuted. I used to shoot in the afternoon while my show on Mirchi would go live every morning. Then came Mann Ki Awaaz Pratigya and this is when I started getting lead offers in television. But I could not take them up due to lack of time. When Sasural Simar Ka happened I was very happy. My role is shaping up well and I am being loved by viewers.” On her future plans the actress averred, “As of now, I am balancing between Mirchi and Sasural Simar Ka. I create a bank for Mirchi and they are very accommodative. I would not mind doing any good character role in movies.” On the personal front Sana confides, “My mother is actually finding a suitor to get me married. She wants a Muslim guy with noble values. Personally, I would want to know the guy before I marry him. I would have this awkward feeling if I am not aware of the guy I am going to marry. I am open to marriage right now, and I am very confident that I can balance my work as well as relationship very well.” Sana, we wish you all the best for your future.
