Actress Sonam Baralla played the sister of Krratika Sengarr in Zee TV’s Service Waali Bahu. Now the girl from Meerut looks forward to her next big role on television.

Sonam’s entry into the acting zone is a fairy tale in itself!! It so happened that she had come down to Mumbai for vacations, and was enjoying her sightseeing sessions when she saw auditions taking place for Service Waali Bahu. An onlooker there advised her to test her luck, after seeing her beautiful appearance.

And lady luck did smile on Sonam, as she bagged the role of Neelam on the show… Post the stint on Zee TV, Sonam has gone on to play cameo roles in Jodha Akbar and Baal Veer.

The girl is now on the lookout for an interesting role, and wants to play the lead…

Says Sonam, “I actually tested for a negative role in Service Waali Bahu, but ended up playing a positive role. Now I want to essay only positive roles. In fact, I will be extremely delighted to bag a lead role. I love the kitchen politics in saas-bahu sagas a lot, and want to be part of one such.”

Sonam always wanted to be a dancer, but now looks forward to exhibiting her talent in reality shows too. “I am pretty loud in nature, and feel that I am a perfect Bigg Boss material, something on the lines of Dolly Bindra. Guess that will be my aim in the years to come (smiles). In simple words, I want to fulfil the dreams of my mother and brother. I want to become a good actor.”
