Shrenu Parikh, who is currently seen as the bechari patni in Star Plus’ Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon...Ek Baar Phir (Sphere Origins), is in fact a very happy soul in real life. The actress is neither in a relationship nor does she plan to get into one as she believes she is way too ‘messed up’ to get into one. In fact, the entire revenge track did put me in a different zone altogether, but then we have lot of fun on the sets. So going by that, things get balanced,” avers the pretty woman. Would you like to be a part of a fun show next? “No, I like everything that this show is offering me. In fact, doing emotional scenes are my forte,” she answers. Talking about her chemistry with co-star Avinash Sachdeva she states, “Avinash is a damn good actor and as far as the chemistry between we too is concerned, we respect each other and that’s what shows on-screen.” Further she goes on to inform us that off the screen the Agnihotri family members are all fun. “Geetanjali (Tikekar), better known as Geeta on our sets, makes it a point to keep the atmosphere chirpy. We all have a lot of fun during lunch time. All the rona-dhona happens only on the Agnihotri planet,” Shrenu adds. Agnihotri Planet!!! “Yes, that’s the name we have given to this family,” she quips. The actress does not relate with her character in real life as she goes on to explain, “I haven’t ever come across such a husband-wife story, but yes I have witnessed some dreaded mom-in-law stories. I come from a very small town where I have seen mom-in-laws treat their daughter-in-laws very badly. So, I grew up deciding that I’d marry a man who does not have a mother. But then I realised that a girl should look at her chemistry with her mother-in-law more than with her husband as she would spend most of the time with the aged lady.” So, is the actress in a relationship? “No I am not. I don’t even plan to settle in the next three years. In fact, I feel our profession gives no time to be in a relationship. Moreover I am too messed up to be in a relationship,” she opines. Messed-up!!! “Yes, I am not too clear of what I want yet apart from being clumsy in real life (laughs). I am so disorganized. I don’t even iron my clothes before leaving my house. I think there is still time for me to grow up (winks).” Well, looks like the good men out there will have to wait a little longer for this pretty babe Shrenu to say a ‘yes’!
