Disha Parmar (Pankhuri) of the Star Plus hit show Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara, is a big Twitter bug and claims that she is trending in the top five list. “Initially, I thought it was a joke, but then it started happening regularly. So then when I asked my people on the sets, they said that it was true. I am very happy that I am trending on Twitter and am in the top trending list, ” Disha avers. So what do you have to say on this very famous micro blogging site? “I tweet about what is happening on the sets or when some funny or awkward incident happens to me. I guess I also comment about normal stuff that others guys do as well,” she quips. Disha is very thankful that her fans follow her so closely on Twitter. “They love my messages and always want more. Like I have not tweeted since last night and see I have already got loads of messages from them asking me if I am still sleeping? 'Please tweet something', they request,” informs the actress. Disha does accept that some of her fans do get personal. “Sometimes, I give it back in a sweet or a sarcastic manner depending on my mood. Having said that, I do try my best to reply to each and every tweet.” she adds. While most other actors say that they don’t have time to personally to go through their time lines, Disha feels that it is not too much of a bother and “I love to do it. When I am unable to reply for even a few days due to a busy schedule, my fans get upset.” At this point, Disha adds that although she loves tweeting but does not like to share her pictures. “I am not a picture person and only do it occasionally. My fans do keep asking me for the same but I gently decline them.” “When our Rajshri produced show started being telecast, no one except Nakuul Mehta (Aditya) was on Twitter. And he forced everybody to join in. Not only the actors, he’s even convinced the direction, screen play and even the costume designing teams to join this 156 characters messaging bandwagon. Thanks to him, I am on Twitter and am trending as well. When we reply to each other on Twitter, some get angry while some ask “why do you guys need to communicate on Twitter, can’t you do it face-to-face on the sets, now only talk to us.” the actress further adds. Before we wind up, we ask Disha as to who does she follow on Twitter? “Priyanka Chopra and Shah Rukh Khan, but of late, Badshah Khan is staying away from Twitter. I also follow Barkha Dutt’s tweets; they are very informative. I follow hash tags, “Oh My God and I Do That Too”, they are so very day to day and realistic,” Disha concludes.
