If curves could act, Deana Uppal would have won the Oscars. The lovely lady has looks to kill, but when it came to performing deadly tasks in Khatron Ke Khiladi 5 (Colors), her vigour seemed muted and accordingly she got eliminated from the race to victory. Post her eviction, Deane spoke to Tellychakkar.com and on her experience on participation she stated: “It has been wonderful. I got to learn so much and did stuffs which I would not have done anywhere otherwise. I did not take up the show to find a footing in the entertainment industry. I was here for the fun and surreal experience.” Wonderfully worded!!! So who were her favourites and who did she absolutely hate amongst the contestants? “I gelled wonderfully well with many. I became great friends with Debina (Bonnerjee), Teejay (Sidhu), Geeta Tandon. And yes, I absolutely hated Ranvir Shorey. He did not behave properly with me in the show.” Naughty boy…Ranvir!!! Now, Deana was someone who always performed her best during elimination tasks. But when it came to regular performances, she fizzled. “Well, all I can say I did my best under pressure. In the task where I got eliminated I came very close to winning against Rajneeish (Duggal). But then, I had to go.” Away from the khatras, what’s cooking between her and Yo Yo Honey Singh? “(laughs) Nothing much. We have been friends since a long time. I met her, someone clicked pictures and made an issue out of it. It’s okay. I know it’s part and parcel of a celeb’s life. I have been single since the last four years now and would focus on my career as of now.” So what’s next? :”I have three movies in my kitty. Can’t reveal much at this point of time. But in some I have an item number others important roles. The real challenge for me is to learn Hindi and I really admire the way Katrina Kaif has done it and become so successful. And yes, I have no inhibitions to wear a bikini, do bold scenes or come out of a pool all wet if the script is good. As an actor, one should be able to push the limits.” That’s yummy!!! She was a part of Big Brother, so will she be seen in Bigg Boss this season? “I don’t know yet. I have to learn Hindi first to convey what I want to. Rest will fall into place.” Way to go, dazzling Deana. Sky’s the limit for you!!!
