She is talented and an impressive actor. We are talking about Mansi Sharma, who has been actively doing television shows such as Aasmaan Se Aage, Mahadev and Mahabharat. Currently shooting for Zee TV’s Pavitra Rishta, the beautiful lady talks about her career as an actor and her aspirations. Mansi says, “I hail from Jammu where I used to work for a theatre group. But then I found myself adding some more value to my talent and contacted Balaji Telefilms and came down to Mumbai. I initially wanted to become an army officer but I found myself evolving more as an actor.” Having shot for mythological drama, the actor expresses how difficult it is to shoot for the same unlike television shows. “Though you get an edge as a performer, and you can improve your command over language with this different experience, it is difficult to be on the set with the heavy costumes and jewellery. I have always liked essaying different characters and particularly love playing grey roles which has a mix of positive and negative characteristics. Personally, I have experienced my share of doing mythological shows.” She is a newbie and what’s her take on casting couch. Mansi claims to have heard of the same but gives her version saying, “I have heard a lot about it but I am blessed and happy not to have encountered any happenings.” Mansi, we wish you luck!
