Getting married twice in a matter of a month might sound weird but the pretty Prinal Oberoi did that recently. Don’t be shocked. For she went through the ritual first for her own wedding to actor Pankaj B Singh on 24 February while the other was for the small screen in her show Pyaar Ka Dard…Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara (Rajshri Productions) on Star Plus. Talking on the same Prinal spoke to Tellychakkar.com and shared, “It was definitely a déj? vu moment for me and I must say it was fun on both the occasions. Although both the marriages were done in a fun atmosphere where we did lots of masti, my real life wedding definitely was more special. It was a beautiful moment that I would cherish my entire lifetime.” “While I was taking the pheras during the shooting, memories of my marriage, especially when I took my vows, came rushing in. Here it was just that the dulha and the pandit weren’t real (laughs). I remember I told the pandit to make sure that he didn’t recite the actual mantra! Certainly, it was an interesting experience,” said the actress smilingly. So does she feel any difference in her relationship with Pankaj post her marriage having dated him for a while before? “Not really. Although it’s amazing to be married and go back home to someone you love; it’s altogether a lovely feeling. Apart from that, when I go out with Pankaj and wear a mangalsutra, I feel that I am actually married. Rest is the same.” And does she impress Pankaj with her culinary skills? “I am still in the learning process although I love to cook for my ‘foodie’ husband. I take tips from my mom and friends and try to stir up delicacies for him. But it is actually he who takes care of me entirely. I have actually got a second mother in him. From my food, diet, exercise to every small details, Pankaj is always there for me,” she averred. We also called Pankaj and asked him how Prinal has changed his life. Laughing shyly, he said, “It’s going really great. My wife is worth the compliments so I don’t really need to mouth any good words to convey that. We are growing every day and have a long way to go. Apart from our personal bonding, we are also planning to come up with a short film factory whereby we will be giving an opportunity to new filmmakers to project their talent.
