I was sad when I heard that I would not be a part of FIR anymore- Chitrashi Rawat

Chitrashi Rawat
A week ago, Chitrashi Rawat who was playing Sub-Inspector Jwalamukhi Chautala on SAB TV’s FIR (Benaifer Kohli and Sanjay Kohli) received a rude shock when she got to know that she wouldn’t be a part of the show anymore. The pretty and petite actress who shot to fame with Chak De! India has also gone on to do several films and TV shows. With Kavita Kaushik (Inspector Chandramukhi Chautala) returning to the show, Chitrashi’s track came to an end. She dismissed it off with a laugh, “I was sad when I heard that I would not be a part of the show anymore. I am pretty okay with it now though.” We asked her as to why the show couldn’t continue with showing both mother and daughter. She replied, “It is of no point having two leading lady cops in the serial.” How will the creatives show the exit of Jwalamukhi? She was clueless. “I have no idea whatsoever. After all do television viewers really look for any logic? In fact, even I am curious to know they will show the transition. If you get to know please inform me.” She nevertheless retains fond memories of the show. “It was a great experience. I had a lot of fun doing this role. I got to do such lovely dance and action sequences.” In her blog titled ‘FIRE OR FIR..!’ she has poured out her heart. She has penned a blog after a gap of two years. Towards the end of the blog she vents, “I knew it gonna get over someday but i'd not expected it to get over so soon for without even a warning. And it did got me thinking, raised so many questions in my head that Why and How? Was i given a fair chance to prove myself? Is 3 months enough to take away 7yrs of glory? Was TRP got affected by the IPL that time? Or i just couldn't deliver upto my potential? I had just started only getting hold of it..people had finally started accepting me as Jwala. But then Boom! that one thought came n stayed that whatever i could've done or reason was IT WAS JUST NEVER MEANT TO BE! (sic).” To read the whole blog, you may visit: http://chitrashi-chitrashi.blogspot.in/2013/06/fire-or-fir.html?spref=tw. It reads quite well and proves that she is a talented writer. We wish Chitrashi all the best in her career ahead.
