Jay Soni, who won all hearts as the innocent and simple Ishaan in Sasural Genda Phool, simply loves watching the ongoing dance reality show on Star Plus, Nach Baliye 6 (Frames Productions) along with his fiancée, Pooja Shah. In other words, the soon-to-be- married couple sees it as a dress rehearsal of sorts in order to hopefully take part in the next season of the popular dance show. Wondering what we are saying? Well, Jay Soni and Pooja were actually approached for this season’s Nach Baliye. But the duo, who recently got engaged, did not take it up owing to certain reasons. When we got this information, we decided to ask the boy-next-door Jay to know more. Jay immediately acknowledged the fact that they did get a call from the makers of Nach Baliye this season. “Yes, as soon as we got engaged, we were offered Nach Baliye. But as you all are aware, my fiancée is not from the industry, and mine is an arranged relationship. So she will require her own time to get into the groove of things. Also, dancing will be something new for her and I will want her to take enough time to give her acceptance to doing the show.” Jay did tell us that Pooja (his fiancée) watches Nach Baliye diligently and is now getting the facts right about the competition. “The contest is sinking into her mind right now. So hopefully we will be participating in the dance reality show next year,” says Jay. He also says that with Sanskaar 2 going on, he could not accept Nach Baliye this time around. “One more reason for us not taking up Nach Baliye is because I am presently busy with Sanskaar –Dharohar Apnon Ki Season 2. I love my work, and I am presently enjoying the twists and turns in the show.” On the track in his show, the actor avers, “Well, with Dipika (Pooja Kanwal) entering, there is a love triangle in the show. And viewers are really concerned about the girl that Kishan will choose for himself.” Jay, we hope to see you with your Baliye in the next season of Nach Baliye.
