If I don't get back on TV, it's a loss for the industry, says Ashita Dhawan

Ashita Dhawan
Ashita Dhawan has a smile that can enchant you. She is beautiful, gracious and of course, a superbly talented actress. She is back from Thailand after partying hard during New Year along with her good friends from the television fraternity, Suyash Kumar, Kishwar Merchant, Vahbbiz Dorabjee and Vivian Dsena. Now she wants to get back to acting but is taking cautious steps rather than being hasty and accepting any run-of-the-mill offer. “I have given a lot to the industry and now it’s time for the industry to give back to me. I am waiting for an offer that will blow my mind. I have given myself two months, and I know that I will get a good offer by then,” says Ashita to Tellychakkar.com. But the scenario has changed over the years. Now, newcomers knock on the door of production houses and get an easy entry as they come cheap and get moulded without difficulty. “Yes, it is true. There has always been a competition between the seasoned actors and the newer ones. It’s true that new talent comes cheap, but look at Bade Achhe and Kuch Toh... these shows are doing well because of experienced actors like Ram Kapoor, Mohnish Behl and Sakshi Tanwar,” maintains Ashita. So isn’t she scared of the fact that two months might get over and no good offer might come her way? “Not at all. See, I know it is a race, but everyone cannot end up as the winner. I have always been a winner. And if I don’t get back on TV, then it is not my loss, it is the loss for the industry. Furthermore, if not acting, I can do so many other things.” Fair enough, Ashita. We hope that you soon get back to TV with a bang. But before signing off, tell us if your love-dovey hubby Shailesh got naughty and went for some exotic massage session in Thailand (given the reputation of the place). “No. I kept him pallu mein bandhke. We went for massage sessions, but together. I did not allow him to go alone. Even if he wanted to then I would have given him my mangal sutra,” laughs Ashita. Well, keep wearing that smile beautiful lady, for your fans love it!!!
