MUMBAI: The magnum opus show Porus on Sony Entertainment Television is keeping the audiences glued to the screen with its unique characters and creative portrayal of the glorious history. One such character is Hasti played by Mohit Abrol. The talented actor hardly gets time to watch TV, but recently he was seen catching up with the recent episodes of Indian Idol 10 and has fallen in love with Ankush Bharadwaj.

Coincidentally, Mohit and Ankush both belong to Himachal Pradesh. Moreover, he feels that Ankush’s energy is resplendent and his performances are amazing on the show. He loves the way he goes all out with his incredible performances every week not letting the fear of losing of his eyesight bother him.

What do you think of Indian Idol?

When quizzed about the same, Mohit said, “I was always an aspiring musician and singer because of which I am a fan of singing reality shows. Indian Idol is one of my favourite shows since I have been following it since the start. This season looks very promising as all the singers are hugely talented. I really look forward to each episode especially Ankush Bhardwaj’s performance. He has a beautiful voice and I feel his voice expresses emotion. I connect with him closely and I feel very proud of him as he also hails from Himachal just like me.”

“Moreover, I appreciate his willpower of giving his best in spite of the fear of losing his vision. It is really endearing to watch him smiling all the time and one cannot believe that he is going through so much. This is what makes him the best and I am sure he is going to get his eyesight very soon. His performances are actually a treat to sight.
