MUMBAI: Last month the music video Judaai starring actor Gunjan Utreja and Aaira Dwivedi was released. Sung beautifully by Moin Sabri, the video has been directed by actor director Srman Jain. Srman was last seen in Kapil Sharma’s show and Trideviyan. Speaking about the good feedback she's received on the song, Srman says,”I am happy with the response and love I am getting. This is my first Hindi music video which I have directed. Judaai is more of story telling and I have discovered that I am good in that zone. The best compliment I got was from a singer friend of mine. He told me that this video looks like a Arvind Khera music video. He is a big name in the music video sector and being compared with him is a great thing. All his videos have an important element of storytelling and I am happy that my work is being compared with him. I am overwhelmed that the song is getting more views. I am very passionate about my work and I never expect anything. For me passion is more important and when you get more you feel happier.”

How has the lockdown been so far for you? “Feeling blessed to get a family get-together, in my hometown Agra. This is the longest in the  last 12years. Finally my niece and nephew recognised me as their Chachu!” Speaking on the scenario of the industry now Srman adds,”I would say it has become quite interesting. Moreover the level of talent that has gone up in these years is quite visible as-well.” 

So how is going to be the post lockdown time and how will the industry bounce back? “It's a phase and shall pass too. I am quite sure that everybody in the industry will take adequate steps to make sure that the crew and artist are working in a safe atmosphere and that we resume shooting asap.” 

So when are we seeing Srman working again? “I am already talking with people for a few projects.I would like to be a part of a good script”
