It is very difficult to believe that we got the least number of votes in Nach Baliye: Amrapali Gupta

Amrapali Gupta
Amrapali Gupta, the girl with mesmerizing eyes, who gained a lot of appreciation for her grey character in Zee TV’s Qubool Hai and has also impressed everyone with her dance moves with her husband Yash Sinha in the latest season of Star Plus’ Nach Baliye, is presently spending some quality time with her husband after getting eliminated from the above dance show. We at Tellychakkar.com got into a conversation with the actress asking her to talk about her journey in Nach. Shared Amrapali, “It was indeed a short journey. I never expected that we will get eliminated so soon. Before entering the show I was of the firm belief that we would reach the top three. I used to get calls every day from my friends and family saying that they liked our performances. According to the show’s format, one couple has to leave the show every week and we were the second one to bid adieu.” “I am glad that I got an opportunity to dance with Yash and through this show, we got lot of time to spend with each other. We also made many good friends while on the show,” she added. According to you what is more important to sustain in the show- good dancing or popularity? “According to me, both matter. But more than that one also needs to be a good entertainer. Somewhere I feel we could not entertain viewers as we couldn’t do all that. We are not the ones to cry asking for sympathy votes. And talking about voting, it is very difficult to believe that we got the least votes,” Amrapali maintained. Who would be the winner according to her? “As of now there are three couples who have high chances of winning. They are Gurmeet- Debina, Rithvik- Asha and Vinod- Raksha,” she answered. What about the least deserving ones? “It will be bad on my part to answer this query,” Amrapali quipped. Do you blame your choreographer for your early exit? “I would not blame him completely, but only if he had choreographed well, we would have stayed in the show. I think the numbers on which we performed didn’t go well with our personalities. It’s not that we both are bad dancers, but somewhere our theme and style of dancing didn’t click with the viewers and judges. Having said this, I loved my car and horror act. By the time we could get into the groove it was too late.” Amrapali observed. Now talking about Qubool Hai, when are you making a comeback? “My production people (4 Lions) have told me that my plot may start from December, so till then I am chilling,” she informed. Lastly, any message for your fans? “I would thank my fans for supporting me. We will try our best to make a comeback through the wild card round in Nach. Fingers crossed, and this time we will surely rock the stage,” asserted the talented actress. We wish you luck Amrapali!!!
