It is very rare to see a character like Kesari in a satirical comedy - Shweta Gulati

Shweta Gulati
She is very strong, sensitive, independent and people love her. We are talking about the beautiful Shweta Gulati who has played a variety of contrasting roles, ranging from a girl who was mistreated in Kyun Hota Hai Pyarrr to a spoilt, fashionable girl with a golden heart Tia Ahuja in Remix and her negative role of Sonya in Amber Dhara. The talented lady has not only gained prominence anchoring in shows such as Zara Nachke Dikha and Dekh India Dekh, but has also gained widespread appreciation through her stint in stand-up comedy shows, Comedy Circus Ke Superstars and Comedy Circus - Chinchpokli To China. While Shweta enchanted the audience with her latest cookery show, Jo Biwi Se Kare Pyaar on SAB TV, the lass is back again to boom the television screens with Frames Productions’ Tu Mere Agal Bagal Hai. The petite charming actor will be seen as a feminist Kesari on the show who would demand that everything on earth which she would believe to be female should be respected, be it vegetables, fruits or clothes. Said Shweta, “I essay a character, Kesari who runs an NGO titled AURAT which would deal with the problems women face in the society. She would be able to turn tables when it would come to issues related to empowerment of women. I simply love this character because she is simple and humorous. It is very rare to see a character like this in a satirical comedy.” “I majorly love the role as my reaction will be more to the situation created by the characters, and not merely contributing to the drama element to spice up the humour quotient. The show is more on the lines of theatre with live audience than a normal fiction based television show,“ she added. We wish you luck, Shweta!!!
