Handsome actor Bhaumik Sampat who romanced the two gorgeous ladies Sanjeeda Sheikh and Additi Gupta in Zee TV’s Badalte Rishton Ki Dastaan now looks forward to the release of his upcoming movie Samrat & Co which has Rajeev Khandelwal as the lead. The actor who made his Bollywood debut with Sadda Adda will now play a cop who hates the very sight of detectives, but is forced into solving cases with the detective in the upcoming movie. Talking about his role in the Rajshri Productions’ flick, Bhaumik told Tellychakkar.com, “I play the no-nonsense cop Khalid who is very young and dynamic. He dislikes working with detectives and wants to solve cases on his own. However, situations will force him to work hand in hand with the detective, essayed by Rajeev.” Bhaumik who came into limelight through Zee Cinestars Ki Khoj and also went on to become the second runner-up in the talent hunt show wants to work with all the top-most banners in movies. Working with a renowned banner like Rajshri Productions has given him the needed boost. “Every aspiring actor will dream of working with Rajshri’s and this is a dream come true for me. I had a fabulous experience working with them, and I would want to do more projects in the future with Rajshri Productions.” On Rajeev Khandelwal who is a role model when it comes to TV actors aspiring to get successful on the big screen, the young lad stated, “Rajeev is a class apart. He knows what to do when given his scenes. He is an actor who will come prepared, and is very smooth to work with.” Bhaumik is presently shooting for another movie wherein he will play the main lead. “The untitled movie is directed by Milinnd Sagar. We have completed the first schedule and will soon begin with the next.” The actor will not mind working parallel on television and on the movie front. “Soon after Dastaan, I did get offers for many TV shows. But I was committed towards Samrat & Co. and it would have been difficult for me to manage both at the same time. Having said this, if I get a challenging role on TV, I will want to take it up.
