The next big budget project of Colors, Krishnadasi (Kutty Padmini and Optimystix), is set to hit screens soon.

And guess what? We have fished out some new information pertaining to the development in the show.

Recently, Tellychakkar.com reported about Indira Krishnan, Chhavi Mittal, Uday Tikekar, Shweta Mahadik and Chaitanya Adib being a part of the project.

Now, we have learnt that replacing Chaitanya, veteran actor Jiten Lalwani has stepped into his shoes.

As per our sources, “Jiten will be essaying the character of male lead, Shravan Reddy’s father. While for initial episodes his character will be shown to be of a positive man, he will have some dark past, which will be revealed later on.”

When we contacted Jiten, he confirmed the development and stated that he has already started to shooting.

Krishnadasi is set to go on air from 25 January.
