Versatile actor Rajesh Shringarpure will now make a comeback to the TV space after a hiatus!!

Yes, the talented guy who was last seen in Life OK’s Rakshak in the lead role, will play a never-seen-before avatar for Ravindra Gautam’s upcoming show for Star Plus, titled Durga. This venture by Paperbags Films Pvt. Ltd. will focus on a girl’s life who would aspire to become an athlete.

Well, in a sports based show, lot of impetus is usually given to the Guru, and Rajesh Shringarpure will play one in the girl’s professional career.

As per credible sources, “Rajesh has been roped in to play the coach (athlete) to the main girl. He will have a crisp and strong role to portray.”

As for Rajesh who has been focusing on his movie career for the last few years, this will be a major comeback to TV. He was last seen in an episodic role in Sony TV’s Encounter. He has movies like Sangharsh, Sarkar Raj, Param Vir Chakra to his credit.

When contacted, Rajesh confirmed the news saying, “Yes, I have signed up for the show. I have always wanted to take up something where I don't give my complete dates. Also this is a role that I have never attempted on TV so far.”

We tried contacting Producer Ravindra Gautam too, but did not get through to him.
