MUMBAI: Comedian Kapil Sharma has been in the news for all the wrong reasons recently. He attempted a comeback with Family Time with Kapil Sharma, but it didn’t receive a good response. Kapil also abused a renowned journalist on Twitter.

Currently, Kapil looks completely different from his former self. The famous comedian–actor has been away from the limelight for a long time. He is not on any TV show. In addition, he is not active on social media. Recently, some of his photographs are doing the rounds on the internet. They seem to be from his Raksha Bandhan celebrations. Kapil is enjoying quality time with his family and has put on loads of weight. Kapil took to Instagram to share this news.

He posted the motion poster and captioned, ‘The heart touching the story of Manjeet Singh n his son. Punjabi film “Son of Manjeet Singh”. Releasing on 12th oct 2018. First, look coming soon. Need ur blessings.’

There have been reports on Kapil making his comeback on TV screens. Recently, a source revealed that Kapil needed some time off to introspect on his life and career. The fallout with his The Kapil Sharma Show co-stars and the failure of his movie Firangi left him disturbed, together with his subsequent fiasco with a journalist and the Simoes sisters. Kapil says that he has decided to get back in shape.

As per reports, Vinod Tiwari of Teri Bhabhi Hai Pagle fame has expressed his desire of making a movie on Kapil's controversial life. ‘After watching Sanjay Dutt's biopic film Sanju, I am planning to make Kapil Sharma's biopic film,’ Vinod Tiwari told the media.

Many reports have also suggested that Kapil is suffering from depression. Whether that is true or not, we hope that his fans and the media can be a little more empathetic towards him in this low phase of his life.
