Karishma Tanna has many reasons to smile. Not only is her Sony show, Ek Ladki Anjaani Si doing well, but her act is also being noticed despite earlier rumours that it would be going off air. Says Karishma, "I wonder why it was thought that the show is going to wrap up, when in reality it has got extension because of its soaring popularity." Karishma, who plays the negative character Ayesha in Ek Ladki adds, "I love my character and the way it impacts the plot line. Moreover I keep getting a lot of fan mail saying that my act is wonderful. For an actor there cannot be a better compliment than being liked by your fans." At the moment the actor is also busy with Vandana Sajnani's theatrical play Knotty Affair, "It's an out an out comedy and I play a modern, smart chic who knows how to play her cards well. I play Lila, who divorces her husband and gets married to an older colonel officer. She lies to her second husband about being a widow and how the confusions lead to a lot of comedy," smiles Karishma who is all praise for Vandana Sajnani with whom she did her first theatrical play The Perfect Wedding. At the moment the actor has hardly any time for further commitments. "I am too occupied with my current projects. I would love to do new shows and even cinema, but it might happen after some time" signs off Tanna.
