It has just been two months that Film Farm’s Kashi was launched on Imagine, and the latest buzz is the show will take a leap on June 7. The casting of the new Kashi and rest of the characters is still on. A source from the show says, “The generation leap was always planned from day one. However since another show (Devi) on the same channel is taking a leap, we too had to bring that track early on. We couldn’t have developed that track in the same week otherwise it would hamper the viewer ship of both the shows. By next week we will finalise who will play the central character of Kashi, Bijayanti and Shaurya.” Prior to this there would be big drama in the show revolving around Bijayanti (Nethra Kapoor). “It will be a special episode when she goes missing during Urmila’s marriage. There would be a lot of mystery surrounding her kidnapping and kidnapper,” our source adds. After the leap, a love triangle would begin between Kashi (Jannat Rehman), Bijayanti and Shaurya. “Shaurya will leave his village and plan to settle down elsewhere. He returns to the village post leap and then the love triangle will blossom.” Devi is taking the leap in the last week of this month.
