The hot hunk from Rishta.com gathered quite a many female fans after his television debut. But after the show went off air, Kavi Shastri a.k.a. Rohan disappeared from the social circuit. However, there is news for all Kavi fans. The charismatic actor is now busy working on his comic side. Kavi has paired up with one of the most popular stand-up comedians, Vir Das, who was recently seen with Shahid Kapur in Badmaash Company. The duo has opened up the first ever comedy company in India. “I am currently working on the comedy company with Vir Das,” confirms Kavi. He further talks about his project, “We are at present working on a two hour comedy based on ‘History of India’ that will be aired on 15 August.” He also has his hands full with several other projects. He is hosting shows and doing theatre across India. Apart from that, the talented actor is also writing films along with Vir Das. So, does Shastri intend to concentrate on comedy and not serious roles? “Certainly not,” says the actor. “Comedy is my strong point but, I am a serious actor. Also, I would take up anything that interests me as an actor,” he concludes.
