Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms’ is minting all the money these days. Be it on the small screen (Bade Achhe Lagte Hain) or on 70mm (The Dirty Picture), they are ruling the roost in all quarters. Now, Tellychakkar.com has already reported that the production house is all geared up to launch another show after Bade Achhe… wherein Mona Singh will play the female lead. And now, the latest masala is that actor Khalid Siddiqui – who was last seen in Star One’s Dhoondh Legi Manzil Humein – has been approached to play the male lead in show. Khalid will play Mona’s husband who hails from a middle class family and is a down-to-earth person. As the show deals with infidelity, it will be shown that Khalid will have an extra-marital affair with his boss. If sources are to be believed then the story is loosely inspired from Salman Khan and Karisma Kapoor starrer Biwi No. 1. Furthermore, the buzz is also making rounds that Amit Sarin, Inder Kumar and Anurag Sharma (Pavitra Rishta) have also been approached for the same role. However, there is a high possibility that Khalid will score over everyone. We talked to Khalid who said, “I cannot really comment at this point of time as things are in its nascent stage.” Fair enough, Khalid. We understand.
