Veteran director Anil Dubey (he has assisted directors Shekhar Kapur and Jagmohan Mundra and TV directors like Ravi Ojha and Sanjay Upadhyay) is turning producer and while he has yet to pitch his show, his unit begins shooting in a couple of weeks. Our source says, “We have signed on Himani Shivpuri, Kiran Kumar, Raju Kher and Priyanka Saini to play pivotal roles. Raju and Priyanka will play the boy’s parents and Kiran is the girl’s father, the girl doesn’t have a mother. It is a story of two best friends and how their relations turn bitter when their kids fall in love with each other. The equation between the two families will change as the girl’s parents do not think well about the boy as they feel he has fooled their innocent daughter. The leads will be played by fresh faces. Talks are on with various channels for this show and we intend to start shooting this month.” Kiran Kumar says, “Yes I am doing Anil’s next show. I am playing a very important role in it, however I do not know when it will be on air and on which channel.” If rumours are to be believed then the makers are keen on doing this show either for Imagine or for Me Home TV, but since things are not getting finalized they are not willing to reveal anything at this moment.
