Triangle Films Company, helmed by Nikhil and Sohanna Sinha, seems to have won the race of bringing fantasy television series Chandrakanta back on TV with Life OK.
 
Chandrakanta recently found itself in a controversy, with Balaji Telefilms also working on the same subject for Colors. The teasers for both the shows were aired in the respective channels.
 
Finally, we see some development, as Triangle Film Company has already found the perfect match to the play the titular role of Chandrakanta.
 
As per media reports, the role will be played by TV’s popular actress Kritika Kamra.
 
Charismatic Kritika, as per industry experts, will add much needed gravitas and feminine appeal to the character. She has worked in the past with Sony as the lead in Reporters.
 
Furthermore, we have learnt that Tere Bin fame Gaurav Khanna has received a shout out from the maker to enact the character of the male lead. 
 
Says a source: “The production house is in talks with Gaurav and if things fall into place, he will be seen as male lead Vikram Singh.”
 
Other confirmed bit of info which we have received is Bhaage Re Mann and Hatim fame Chandan K Anand has been signed to play the part of the antagonist, Kroor Singh.
 
The biweekly drama will commence airing from 4 March, and, in most probability, will take either 8 or 8.30p primetime slot.
 
We dropped a text to Nikhil but did not receive revert till the time of filing the article. Gaurav and Chandan remained unavailable to comment.
