MUMBAI: 2018 is the year for comebacks!

After Khichdi and Dus Ka Dum, two other iconic shows are making a comeback. Kasautii Zindagii Kay has season 2 in the pipeline on Star Plus, while Zabaan Sambhalke is returning as a web-series on ALTBalaji.

Now, TellyChakkar has exclusive information that Optimystix Entertainment is bringing season 2 of its much-loved show Ladies Special. The daily was based on the lives of four women who travel by the ladies special suburban railway train in Mumbai. It featured Neena Gupta, Shilpa Tulaskar, Ashita Dhawan, and Payel Sarkar as the female protagonists.

Our sources inform us that the new season will feature a fresh cast. This time, the story will revolve around three ladies who belong to Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat and Maharashtra.

The casting for the show has already begun, and it is expected to go on floors by the end of September.

We could not get through to producer Vipul D Shah for a comment.

Optimystix Entertainment has recently produced a new show titled Super Sisters on SAB TV and is also working on the new season of Comedy Circus for Sony TV.
