It’s time for a change when it comes to moving out of the usual saas-bahu dramas. And Life OK has been aggressively pushing its shows which have different concepts.
Ek Boond Ishq (BBC Worldwide Productions) was scripted by writer Saba Mumtaz keeping in mind two stories. A romantic love story and a story based on passion. We might all think if this is a typical girl meets boy and they fall in love, right? Let’s find out more on the show.
The prolific writer turned producer said, “We have made an attempt to fuse in the two stories into one and present our viewers with something out-of-the-box. It would be a passionate love story but definitely not generic in nature. We promise our viewers, that they will not get to see the usual drama they watch on their television sets. It would be very different and will keep the audiences hooked and all will be in awe till the end of the show.”
Ek Boond Ishq is about a sweet boy Neel (Viraf Patel) who, due to mishappenings and unfortunate circumstances gets inside the jail. He falls in love with Taara (Chhavi Pandey) who is bold yet sweet, naughty and the ‘Bhai of Bhopal’. He gets married to her while in jail and is a convict who later absconds. He would then be - Mrutyunjay. Also playing an important role is Kalaawati (Vishwajeet Pradhan) who plays a ‘shemale’ in the show and is the core reason for his problematic life.
Get ready for this love story - Ek Boond ishq which will air at the primetime slot of 8:30 pm from 9 September (2013).
