Last year we saw her launching her diary and this year she is all set to launch her first ever music album. The lady in question is none other than Channel [V]'s wacky mallu VJ Lola Kutty. The funny VJ who has grown up listening to the sensuous pop rhythms of Boney M is now all set to pay tribute to her favourite pop group. "As a youngster I would listen to Boney M cassettes which I'd got from Dubai. So the songs turned out to be my lullaby as I'd listen to them every night. On a lighter vein, my relatives would call me a Boney baby. After the best of Boney M , I thought I should pay my tribute to them and relive my youth in a typical Kerala fashion. I don't sing well, in fact I croak but I hope the video is seen by a lot of people," says the funny woman, Lola with a straight face in her unique mallu tone. So we ask the beauty on duty, if she is planning to go in for a makeover to get the right look in the Boney M album. "I've got three new saris for the album and applied eye shadow, so that's the extent of my new look. In the video, Alex is sent back in time and I am happy with the graphics, visual effects that have been used. I am expecting the music album to be a super duper hit," says Lola who completed shooting for the album in a day's time. The album will feature a medley of three songs of Boney M (namely- Rivers of Babylon,Ma Baker and Daddy Cool) featuring Lola and Alex. The Channel [V] VJ is looking forward to a three week vacation with her family in Kerala this month. Also she plans to launch another book early next year.
