No pain, no gain - the phrase suits best on actress Mahhi Vij who seems to be having a tough time on stunt based reality show "Khatron Ke Khiladi - Kabhi Peeda Kabhi Keeda".

She has hurt herself several times, including one time while performing a 'suck face’ task where the contestants had to put their face in a box full of maggots.

"It has only been three weeks and I have already got hurt so many times. I believe I am prone to injuries because by the finishing point of each task I end up hurting myself," Mahhi said in a statement.

"I get really aggressive while doing the tasks but that’s my passion for the show. With each task I have not only become physically stronger but also emotionally,” she added.

Apart from Mahhi, “Khatron Ke Khiladi- Kabhi Peeda Kabhi Keeda”, which is hosted by actor Arjun Kapoor, also features Sidharth Shukla, Faisal Khan, Mahhi Vij, Parvathy Omanakuttan, Tanishaa Mukerji, Sana Saeed, Aishwarya Sakhuja, Tina Dutta, Vivan Bhatena, Yuvraj Walmiki, Mukti Mohan and Raghav Juyal.

The show was shot in Argentina.
