Maleeka R Ghai to feature in Sony PAL's Singhasan Battisi

Actress Maleeka R Ghai will soon be back on screen after playing mother to Gautam Rode in Star Plus’ Saraswatichandra. She has bagged an interesting role in Sony PAL’s show, Singhasan Battisi, produced by Creative Eye Ltd. She will play the role of a Brahmini (wife of a Brahman) who would be ailing owing to a health concern. The Brahman would be tense for the sake of his wife, as he would have to depart for a Yagya leaving her alone. In order to give her a secure place of living, the Brahman would seek King Vikramaditya’s (Karan Suchak) help. He will request the King to take care of his wife till the time he would come back. And the very helpful King will immediately offer to help, and take care of the Brahmini’s medical needs too. King Vikramaditya will soon keep the Brahmini in a very good home and provide her with all the facilities possible. However, the duty of the country will beckon him, and he would immediately have to leave with his Rani Chitralekha (Kajal Jain) for a war to protect his countrymen. During the phase of his absence, the Brahmini’s health would deteriorate and she will die. This will shock the Brahman upon returning, and he will have some harsh words to tell the King. How will King Vikramaditya help the Brahmin out and bring back his happiness? Maleeka we hear, has started shoot for Singhasan. When contacted, the actress said, “I have a long-standing association with Dheerajji (Kumar) and Creative Eye. I have earlier been part of many of their shows, and I am now shooting for Singhasan Battisi. However, I am not sure whether I can reveal the plot to you.” Watch her in action in the historical cum mythological cum fantasy-based show.
