Manish Goel hurts himself not once but thrice on the sets of Life OK's Shapath

Manish Goel
Undoubtedly seasoned actors like Manish Goel always add up to the value of a project, with their commitment level, when they get associated with it. Now, Fireworks Productions office usually does not re cast an actor in quick succession for their Life OK show Hum Ne Li Hai … Shapath. But given Manish’s impressive act in one of his previous stints in the show, the makers gave him a shout out once again for another episodic, wherein he plays a double role of a 25 year and a 50 year old. So, what’s this story all about? It’s a futuristic story of this villain who is living in the year 2035, gets back to 2014 to meet his younger self and murder a few of his friends. Thus the audiences will get to see flying cars and buildings in space. “I had already played a villain before on Shapath, hence I did not want to be a part of it once again. But when they (Fireworks Productions) narrated the story, I was completely zapped,” the actor averred. And yes, the actor did put in his heart and soul in the two roles, but unfortunately the last day of his shoot turned out to be a tough one for Manish. He ended up hurting himself not once but thrice. How did you fall so many times? “(Laughs) Firstly, I fell and hurt my hands and elbows. This is when my director advised me to take a body double as the scene required a lot of running and jumping around. But since I wanted to do it all by myself, I went on. Next scene was of me running down some 30 stairs while the cops followed me but I ended up tumbling soon after I took the first step. The third time I had to take a flip and I accidentally got hurt again. So, yes the last scene did give me some pain,” he sighed. The actor also shaved of his stubble look after five years to get into the skin of the character. This particular episode will air sometime in mid-February.
