Moolah time for the couch potato!

Everybody knows about the man who created history on Indian television by winning Rs 1,56,80,000 on Zee's game show, <em>Kam Ya Zyada<em> on 9 January, but little is known about the 10 guys who won Rs 7, 80,000 sitting at home during the same episode, even as Ravindra Vats sweated it out on the hot seat! And two of them were sitting in the Middle East!
Everybody knows about the man who created history on Indian television by winning Rs 1,56,80,000 on Zee's game show, Kam Ya Zyada on 9 January, but little is known about the 10 guys who won Rs 7, 80,000 sitting at home during the same episode, even as Ravindra Vats sweated it out on the hot seat! And two of them were sitting in the Middle East! One of the winners, Binaifer Fitter, 35, a doctor's assistant in Abu Dhabi, is ecstatic about her victory. "I wasn't expecting this at all! I have been partcipating in all this for a long time, but my number was never chosen...but this time I was lucky. I am very happy for Ravinder and I am really thankful to Zee," says a visibly excited Binaifar, who is still too much in shock to plan what to do with the money. The other winner, also from Abu Dhabi, couldn't stop thanking the channel for his turn of fortune. This engineer working with the local water department is yet to be contacted by the channel, and had no clue about the amount that he had won. "It's an excellent feeling. Frankly, I haven't won the amount, my wife has. She is always participating in all these shows using my cell phone. I am not too interested myself," laughs Shaik Nazeer Hussain, 36, who too has no clue what he would do with the money! Well, what they will do with the money is something that these two can mull over...but this sure is a great way to kickstart the year!
