And to rejoice the religion of motherhood, the world is celebrating Mother's Day today (8 May).

While one may go on about stating that they do not believe in dedicating a day to their moms, the pretty actress Divyanka Tripathi has a different take.

Not one to mince words and always speaking her heart, the Yeh Hai Mohabbatein actress shares her opinion on Mother's Day.

She avers, "We all love our mothers dearly but at the same time we do tend to take them for granted."

"We love them, respect them, care for them but in our day to day life, we forget to acknowledge and appreciate their efforts and sacrifices. So, I think Mother's Day is the perfect time when we can tell them how dear they are to us," she adds.

So go ahead and tell your mom that you love her and owe your happiness to her," Divyanka advises all.
