Vandana Sajnani is a renowned theatre personality, award winning theatre actress, writer, producer and director. The lady is very excited as her short film is about to release on 24 October (2013). And there is not one, two but three reasons to celebrate as 24th also happens to be her birthday and on the same day, her production and event company 'Moksh Creations' completes a decade in business. Now talking about the film, the actors who are a part of it are Tarot card reader and actress Munisha Khatwani, Left Right Left fame actor Arjun Bijlani, Sana Saeed (last seen in Jhalak 6), Shibani Kashyap’s husband Rajiv Roda, theater artiste Roma Navani and Vandana’s husband Rajesh Khattar. To know more about the project we called Vandana and she shared, “This is the first time I am not acting in the project but directing, producing and writing it. It’s a short film based on internet crime. There is lot of importance of social networking in our lives today but somewhere it also has drawbacks. So this movie will depict positive and negative sides of the web. It will be a 30 minute film and tentatively called ‘Caught in the Web’. It is a very good looking film and the content is very natural, short and crisp. For this project I have roped in Munisha Khatwani, Arjun Bijlani, Sana Saeed, Rajiv Roda, Roma Navani and my husband (Rajesh Khattar).” She continued, “The film has all young talented actors and they are also very good friends of mine. I will be arranging special screening for media, friends and fraternity and will try to enter films festivals like Miami, Goa and hopefully Cannes.” “Lastly, I want to add that in India there are no theaters where audiences can watch these kinds of films.
