My marital status is irrelevant to the funny banters between me and Mudassar in DID 4 - Ishita Sharma

Ishita Sharma
Ishita Sharma who anchors Zee TV’s popular dance show DID 4 along with Jay Bhanushali is enjoying the light-hearted romantic banter which is being created between her and judge Master Mudassar Khan having found love in each other’s company. Says she, “It is funny, because when we had first sat down to chart out what I will do in the show I was told that the creative did not want the regular chemistry which happens on a reality show when there is a young beautiful woman involved. e.g. Karan Wahi flirting with Shilpa Shetty in Nach Baliye. Rather they wanted me to be like one of the boys. But during the shooting of the first episode once Mudassar made some noise about the previous performance, to which Jay jokingly cracked that you are doing this because we have a new female anchor. Since it was a live performance, everybody had a hearty laugh. I too joined as it is came with a flow.” Ishita, who was last seen in Kuch Toh Log Kahenge, and has also acted in the film Pyaar Ka Panchnama does not think that she being married changes the rules of the game. “My marital status is irrelevant here as we all know that this is just make believe.” She is also not worried that people might misunderstand her. “I don’t think audiences are that dumb anymore. Above all what is true always has a different feel to it. e.g. Gauahar Khan and Kushal Tandon’s chemistry in Bigg Boss. It appears so real that nobody is making fun of it, while here we are taking digs at each other. Like recently I quipped, I too have to be careful since I have to answer my husband back at home. Even my fans fire back tweeting that since I am married, Mudassar is free to look at another woman as well.” As for now, we are simply loving this fun banter.. Keep it coming!!!
