For actor Manish Naggdev, donating his sperms to a couple’s cause to becoming parents was a noble gesture done without any vested interests attached to it. And when the actor talked about this, he expected his industry friends to support him. However, it turned out to be the other way around. Says Manish, “Sadly, most of my so-called tellywood friends gave a completely wrong twist to my social mission. Whenever they call me by this name I fire back saying my name is Manish, please call me by the same. While people have appreciated my kind gesture, many of my fans have used social media to hail my decision which might help families become complete. It is so unfortunate that people in my own fraternity smell a conspiracy in everything. I am not that shallow to resort to such tricks. Also the media will not allow itself to be used like this.” Manish here accepts that he has been approached for Bigg Boss and does not deny that this controversy might in fact help him. However, he maintains, “But I did not create it. If a good deed helps, so be it.” He is also gung-ho about taking up the Colors non-fiction show. “I have been following all its preview seasons and am ready to play the game to survive all the way. I have never lived away from my parents, so it will be a challenge.
