It is Nach Baliye time on Star once again. No, it's not the commencement of Nach Baliye 2 but the couples of Baa Bahoo and Baby having a Nach Baliye concept in their 31st special episode. The six couples performing are Baa-Babuji, Arvind-Leela, Pravin-Pravini, Subodh-Meenakshi, Anish-Dimple and Baby-Gattu. The judges will be their new servant Raja, sister Charubala and Her husband Tushar. The Thakkar family gears up for Nach Baliye! Rajesh Kumar who plays Subodh will be dancing with his wife Meenakshi. "It was an amazing experience to dance in the serial. It is a healthy competition. I love dancing, and I was all thumbs up for this idea. It is definitely a break from the monotony of acting, so we get to try something really different on screen." Dimple who is played by Manva Naik sounded extremely happy about performing in the serial. "It was an amazing concept which the production thought about. But more than fun it was tiring. We were not at all prepared and we practiced in two days. Dancing with Gautam who plays Anish in the serial was a very good experience as he is a great dancer. I too have been dancing since four years as I am a kathak dancer, but the kind of dancing required here was very different." Deven Bhojani who plays Gattu on the show and is also the creative head for the same says, "The idea was to do something very singular. We mutually thought about this concept and it did work. There will be six couples performing in the show. They will go through three rounds, romantic, comedy and folk. It was a lot of fun dancing." Apart from this he talks about a twist in the show. "Yes there will be something before Anish and Dimple get engaged." Arvind and Leena dance on Hawa ke saath saath On contacting JD, the producer of the show, he says, "It was never a promotion of Nach Baliye which appeared on Star One. It was completely our concept and the channel loved it. One has to see the way all these couple have tapped on different songs. It was a beautiful sentiment to work on such a notion." It is not only Baa Bahoo and Baby, but also Kudkudiya House No 43 which will see a special episode. "Yes, Kudkudiya... will also have special guests like Jaaved Jafferi and Satish Shah and the show will go on for an hour," says JD. He adds, " 31st is certainly fortunate for us as, both the shows will be on air and that too for more than their usual programming timings." This is what we call difference with style and we hope that Hats Off prove to rule the night on 31st!
