MUMBAI: We are back with another update on Sony Entertainment Television’s Mere Sai - Shraddha Aur Saburi (Dashami Creations).

We recently reported about actress Sharmila Rajaram being roped in to essay the role of a widow named Chiu (Read here: Sharmila Rajaram to enter Mere Sai).

The makers have now roped in newbie Sonam Khan to depict the role of Chiu’s friend, who taunts her on being a widow and creates trouble in her life.

The series will develop a track around Chiu and her remarriage.

Sonam has begun shooting, and the above picture is her character look in the show.
