The beautiful Nia Sharma has moved on from the ‘agony and pain’ of losing her cell phone. The girl is now beaming with confidence as she gears up for a big star-studded Holi party where she will be seen as the anchor. Yes, we get to hear that Nia will be the person in charge of the mike, as anchor at the most popular Zoom Holi party. Says Nia, “Last year, I gave the Zoom Holi party a miss. But this year, I have a strong reason to be at the party as I am hosting it (smiles). I am doubly happy as I will get a chance to play Holi with the entire industry folks. Also, I am looking forward to having a nice chat with all of them. I am elated and on cloud nine.” Nia who loves being an anchor feels that ‘anchoring’ comes naturally to her. “At such events, all you want to do is to update yourself about the ‘Who’s Who’ in the industry. You will have to know each and every person coming at the party, and should know about their work so that you engage them in a nice talk. Earlier, I was not that comfortable with all this, but now that I have had a good experience in this industry and have grown along, I am confident of doing a good job.” Nia will sport a very sexy outfit for the Holi party. “Well, I have been given backless choli and a low lying lehenga. I am very eager to get into them.” Nia who has been out of action ever since Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai ended is waiting to pick up a challenging role and will not hurry her comeback. “Frankly speaking, there is no good show on TV right now. I have been getting lot of offers this year, but all the shows have been delayed due to IPL. I am not eager to get working very soon. After playing a character like Maanvi, who is popular till today, I will like to sit back and choose the best. I feel I am not ready to take up the ‘bahu’ roles. I will still want to be put in the bracket of youngsters.” The gorgeous beauty will however, be seen in the upcoming celebrity-studded cricketing extravaganza, Box Cricket League (BCL). She will be part of the team Mumbai Mastram. Ask Nia whether she is good in cricket and she immediately states, “Yes, I know to bat well and bowl well too. I am better-off when compared to many other actors. I have to thank my brother for this, as during our growing-up days, he would force me to bowl at him and bat too to his balls. So I have played a good share of cricket in my childhood, and know quite a lot about the game.” Nia, have a blast this Holi and enjoy your hosting stint!!
