Nishikant Dixit’s ‘neck’ challenge in Colors’ Ishq Ka Rang Safed

Actor Nishikant Dixit always believes in accepting tougher challenges when it comes to picking up his next big project. Well, we hear that Nishikant will play a very important character in Colors’ upcoming show, Ishq Ka Rang Safed, produced by FilmFarm India. Important not just in its characterization, but also in the way the person looks and behaves!! To make it more clear, Nishikant will play one of the very unique roles seen on TV so far, with his character being physically challenged from birth. As per a reliable source, “Nishikant’s character will be of a guy with his neck tilted towards one side. Also, the man will have speech disabilities, owing to a tongue problem.” Sources from the set of the show confide in us that Nishikant needs to remain with his neck tilted for the whole day on sets. However, the actor has accepted the role with great gusto, and is seen at his cheerful best on the set. Nishikant Dixit will play the father of the male protagonist, to be played by popular actor Mishal Raheja. The father and son will have a great bonding; the physically disabled father will be the sole support for his son, who would fall in love with a young widow. We tried contacting Nishikant and even dropped text messages, but he did not revert. Nishikant is presently seen in Life OK’s Piya Rangrezz, and has a good body of work in TV shows Chintu Chinki Aur Ek Badi Love Story, Dil Se Di Dua…Saubhagyavati Bhava, Uttaran, Maayke Se Bandhi Dor, Udann. Here’s wishing the seasoned actor all the very best for his impressive new role…
