Beautiful, gracious and evergreen, Madhuri Dixit was roped in by Life OK to be the channel’s sutradhar (narrator). It was no doubt a smart decision considering the lovely lady’s charming personality and enchanting voice. Now, it seems that this novel move by Life OK is being picked up by other channels also. Colors, which has been struggling with its numbers, has decided to bring in legendary veteran actor, Om Puri, to be the narrator in its latest offering, Chhal- Sheh Aur Maat. The show is being produced by Nandita Mehra and Bhairavi Raichura and the “sutradhar” move hopefully will act as a catalyst to gain more TRPs.
Om Puri will be seen every Saturday in the serial wherein he will sum up the high points of the show which unfolded during the course of that particular week. Puri has currently agreed to feature in five episodes and may or may not continue (talks are still on with the makers). He has already started shooting and today (23 March 2012) is his hit first day on the sets.
Hmm…this certainly seems to be an interesting move in terms of strategy. Nandita and Bhairavi remained unavailable till the time of filing this article.

Well, later we got in touch with Hunar Hali, who plays Neha in the show, and she commented, "Yes, I too have heard that Om Puri will be the narrator. I am happy that such a renowned personality will be the part of the show. It will gain more popularity."
