Post the Karwa Chauth episode wherein Sumitra (Perneet Chauhan) yelled at Raghu (Arhaan Behll) for breaking Shivani’s (Mansi Shrivastava) fast and not being concerned for her, Shivani will now take the drastic step of pacifying Sumitra. Along with Gini, Shivani will go and meet Sumitra at her place where she will tell her that Raghu is only fulfilling his responsibility of taking care of her, and that he belongs to Sumitra. However, the obsessive Sumitra will not heed to anything and will go on to abuse and humiliate Shivani. She will call Shivani characterless, as she is living with a man without getting married to him. She will even humiliate Shivani’s upbringing, and this will be when Raghu will ask Sumitra to shut up and not abuse Shivani. This will instigate Sumitra more and she will be very hurt. All this will result in Shivani feeling very dejected. She will feel that the bond between Raghu and Sumitra is getting destroyed because of her presence in the house.
