Rajshri Productions’ popular show on Star Plus, Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha.. Pyaara Pyaara will see major drama this week. Yesterday, we wrote about the death of the protagonist Pankhuri (Disha Parmar) in a landslide. Well, the fans of Disha need not be worried as the girl will soon be back in a brand new avatar. As per sources, Disha will now be seen as a traditional Muslim girl, named Ayesha. She will be the complete opposite of what Pankhuri was. Ayesha will be the look-alike of Pankhuri, and would be living with her mother and sisters somewhere in Lucknow. A source states, “Pankhuri’s look-alike will be spotted by Harish (Nitesh Pandey) in Lucknow and he will be stunned to see the resemblance. Meanwhile, post Pankhuri’s death, Adi (Nakuul Mehta) would have gone into a depression. Pankhuri’s absence would have hit everyone in the Deewan family, and they would have changed.” The presence of a look-alike of Pankhuri will bring a ray of hope into the Deewan house. Also, entering the show will be actress Divjot Kaur Sabarwal. She will play the elder sister to Ayesha, who will be envious of her sister as she would get all the attention. Divjot was earlier seen as Madhuri in Pavitra Rishta and as Currentiya in Mrs. Kaushik Ki Paanch Bahuein. Divjot’s character will have a negative shade to it, and she will later on follow Ayesha into the Deewan house. In addition to Divjot, actors Aparna Ghoshal and Monika Murthy will enter the show. While Aparna will play the mother to Ayesha, Monika will be the younger sister of Ayesha. Monika’s character will be very positive, is what we get to hear. We tried contacting Disha, but could not get through to her. When contacted, Divjot confirmed that she is part of the show, but preferred to not talk any further. We hear that Ayesha’s entry is slated to happen this week.
